from the church books of St. Mary in Hanau, Baptismal Book 8, vol. 349
He was the third child, born on 9nov1704 according to the Baptismal Register
of the church of St. Mary in the Altstadt Hanau, son of the fuller Peter
Deboor und his wife Maria Johanna Gruber. His first name he had from his
godfather Isaac Barron, a dyer and burgher of the Altstadt Hanau. Both
grandfathers were dead already, the fuller Heinrich Dubor and the linen
weaver Michael Gruber, a master and burgher of the Altstadt Hanau, died
1699. The grandmother Kunigunde Gruber lived until 1729.
In Hanau, he learned the profession of a `Weinverlasser' (wine trader),
and then moved to Hamburg. There he was joined 20may1731 in holy matrimony
to Anna Metta Meyer whose father, Hartwig Meyer, born in Lüneburg and
then moved to Hamburg, had 1691, in second marriage, wed the Dutch woman
Idia Kock. Isaac enrolled 15jun1737 in the register of the `Axt & Weinverlasser',
signing that register as Isaac Deboor.
It is not known at which firm the child-rich `Weinverlasser' (wine trader)
and Master Isaac de Boor worked. From 1780 on, he lived, quite aged, in
the Hamburg `Johanniskloster' (St. John's Abbey) at Wallgraben and died
before 1788.
